Will be married forty years August 23, 1994.  Our first daughter Theresa was born in 1962 in Virginia while my husband, Joe Mascorro, was in the Army.  She has given us two grandsons.  Tina was born in 1965 in Colorado.  She has given us two granddaughters.  Tracy was born in 1967 in Baytown.  My only Texan.  She has given us one granddaughter and one grandson.  All the grandchildren are
in the main office as a secretary for the Engineering Dept. for several years.  It was there that I met my husband, Walton.  In May we celebrated 42 years together.  After starting our family I ‘retired’ for a while.  We have a daughter, Debbie (graduate of Texas A&M), Who lives with her husband and 3 boys in Los Angeles, CA.  Our son John (Sam Houston State) is carrying on the family tradition by working for Exxon in Baytown.  He has 3 girls.  When our children were in high school, I started work as a secretary at San Jacinto Methodist Hospital.  After 8 years I retired
Texans.  As you can tell we traveled quite a bit, which I have enjoyed very much.  My life may seem dull by today’s standards, but I’ve enjoyed my life as a wife, pastor’s helper, mother and now a very happy spoiling grandmother.  The Lord Jesus Christ has been very good to my family.

for good.  Walton took an early retirement, and we have enjoyed traveling to many wonderful places, and being grandparents to our 6 beautiful grandchildren.
2004 Update:  Since the last reunion things haven’t changed too much.  Walton and I have been married (in May 04) 47 years.  Still live in Baytown and have many good friends.  We have loved to travel and have been on buses, trains, planes, tours and several cruises.  We have been everywhere I always wanted to go and more!
I’ve done things I never dreamed of doing like: Riding the rapids in a raft down the Snake River in Wyo.-Riding in a glider plane over the Rocky Mtns. In Colo.-Riding in a helicopter to the top of glaciers in Alaska and riding in a seaplane and landing on a lake high up in the mountains in Alaska.  I rode a cable car to one of the highest mountain peaks in Switzerland and nearly froze.  We were in N.Y. City in 2000 and went up to the tourist level of the W.T.C. (104th floor).  It was a spectacular view. I’m so glad we went there.  I’ll never forget it.
Home is still the best place to be!  Being with friends, playing Bridge and busy with activities at Memorial Baptist church.  God has blessed me my whole life-ever though there has been some pain along the way!  I’ve been blessed with a sweet husband, 2 wonderful children (boy & girl) and 6 precious grand children (all teenagers now).  WOW!
Thanks to everyone who has worked on these reunions! Great Work!
2009 Update:  I married my high school sweetheart, Leo Keyes, in 1955.  He  also graduated from REL.  We have had 54 wonderful years together.  We have three children, seven grandchildren, and three great grandchildren.  Our son Len, currently works for ExxonMobil and specializes in Instrumentation.  Lisa works for Goose Creek ISD as the Truant/Attendance Officer and Kara lives in Virginia; she is an Interior Design Specialist.
I retired from the City of Baytown after 30 years.  I was privileged to have worked with four Judges during my career with Municipal Court.  My husband, Leo, retired from Bayer Corporation as an Engineer.  We lived in Baytown until we retired and relocated to Crosby.  We currently live in Newport.  We enjoy fishing, swimming, traveling and spending time with our children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Roy Fulkerson (Judy) 5974 Creekside Ln., Hoschton, GA 30548   (770) 965-6706    royfulkerson@bellscouth.net
After graduation from R.E. Lee the Lions Club scholarship sent me to Lee College.  Ardith McKee, Lee class of 1955, married me in 1957 and we had two children, Roy III (Tracy) and Mary Beth.  While at Texas A&M the WTAW 5:30 AM disk jockey slot was mine and after graduation sold advertising in addition to the “on the air” position. For a while the Univac Division of Remington Rand was my thing and then the office and data processing manager for Mechanics Uniform Supply in Houston.  In April 1961 I joined the Allstate Insurance Company.
While employed with Allstate Ardith, the children and I lived in Houston, Atlanta, Indianapolis, Detroit, Chicago, Atlanta again and Chicago again.  In the 1969 school year the children attended school in three states.
In December 1992 early retirement beckoned and we moved from Illinois back to Atlanta.  After retirement from my “real job” I accepted employment January 1993 as business manager of the Atlanta Opera.  Ardith passed away in February 1993.
A year with the opera was enough and the position as development director of the Brandon Hall School in Dunwoody, Georgia became available where Judy Weiland came into my life.  She accepted my proposal of marriage and in December 1994 we joined families.  We have four children and eight grandchildren, all living in the Atlanta area.
In 1998 Judy and I semi-retired again and we moved to
Tobye Fram Joachim (Mort) 5634 Grape,  Houston, TX 77096  (713) 774-4084  joachimtm@mail.com
After graduation I went to the University of Texas at Austin for two years, where I met my husband, Mort.  We became engaged and I transferred to SMU, to be near Mort who was from Dallas.  I
finished my degree in 3 years, graduating from SMU in 1957 and we were married in June 1957.  I enrolled in graduate school at SMU but we moved to Houston before I finished.  I enrolled in graduate school at the University of Houston and received a Masters Degree.  I have
always liked going to school.  I guess that is why I decided to keep going – this time for a Ph. D. I was admitted to the program after major studying for the GRE, but never finished.  We lived in Dallas from ’57 to’62 and in Houston from ’62 to the present.  I have worked in HISD as a Speech Therapist, Educational diagnostician and as a Special Education Supervisor.  I retired 7 years ago but have continued to work part time as a Speech Therapist in a school near my home.  I have really enjoyed working 2 days a week—it gives me an identity as more than ‘mother’ and ‘grandmother’—both roles which I enjoy very much but the professional role adds a nice dimension to my life.
Mort and I have been married for 42 years.  We have 3 wonderful children. Jeffrey, 40, Karen, 38, and Linda, 35.  We have 8 fantastic grandchildren, 7 boys and 1 girl.  All of my children, as well as my brother Lewis and sister, Betty, live and Houston and my brother, Jerry is not far away.  He still lives in our old house at 510 North Whiting in Goose Creek!  We are all very close and my family becomes increasingly important to me as the years go by.
2004 Update: My life is much the same as it was five years ago when I updated my information.  My family is still the most important part of my life and I am fortunate to have them all very close.  My three children and eight grandchildren are in the Houston area.  My grandchildren range from one grandson who is in second grade up to three grandsons who are in college.  I have only one granddaughter who we especially enjoy as she attends a school for gifted students near our home and can walk to our house.  My sister, Betty, and brother, Lewis, live in Houston.  My brother, Jerry, is still in Baytown.  We get together often.  My husband is retired and I retired 13 years ago, but still do Speech Therapy two days a week at a school near my home.  We continue to enjoy traveling and hope the world will be a safe place so that as long as our good health continues we can continue to see the world.
My life has been good since graduation.  I received a good education; married the right person (48th anniversary in June) had interesting work, wonderful children and grandchildren, and good health.  It has been a good fifty years and I hope that I will be updating this again in five years!’!
our 15 acres on the side of Lance Mountain, near Morganton, population about 350, between Blue Ridge and Blairsville.  Judy became very active as a designer of web pages and I continue to do taxes for H&R Block.  We travel, do a lot of volunteer work and really enjoy the north Georgia mountains where we live.

permanently settled in Houston.  We have 3 sons - Drew, a lawyer in Austin; Ken, a computer graphics artist in San Francisco; and Ron, a quality control engineer in Pearland, TX, and 4 grandchildren - Christina, 8; Giulio, 6;  Andrew, 5 and Ruby 2.  In the late '70s I started a floral design and wedding business.  Since retiring seven years ago we have enjoyed traveling to see grandchildren and exploring this wonderful world!
2009 Update:  AJ & I both retired in 1998 and have enjoyed traveling and being with friends and family.  Our church, Memorial Drive Presbyterian, takes a lot of our time with committees and classes which we enjoy.
We are proud of our three sons, Drew, Ken, Ron and their families and of course, the five grandchildren are all very special.
Thanks for all the work the committee has done to make this 55th reunion happen.  I know we will all enjoy being together again.
