2003: In 1954 I joined the Coast Guard. During the three years between the Coast Guard and being hired by the state I attended several colleges briefly and worked for short periods at several of the chemical plants along the ship channel.  In 1961 I was married to Glenda (Huwieler-RE Lee class of 61) and was hired as a Texas State Game Warden.  For the next 31 years I was stationed in various counties around the state retiring in 1992 as a Lt. Game Warden.  I have two sons Nelson, 39 and Ross, 36.  I also have two granddaughters Courtney, 12 and Shannon 1 ½.  I have enjoyed retirement and hunt, fish or golf on a daily basis.
Update: 4/2010  Bobby lost his wife, Glenda, on April 14, 2010.

I graduated from Lee College in 1956 and from there went to University of Texas for a year.  While there I met a delightful young lady from Houston Milby, Carmen Littlefield, and married her in 1958. She put up with me through
med school, internship, and residency.  We have 4 children and 10 grandchildren.  After residency I practiced  Obstetrics and Gynecology in the Heights area of Houston until 1979 when I moved to the Boulder area in Colorado where I have been ever since.  I can't seem to find the right time to quit and am still in near full time practice. ED: Norman died of a stroke.  He delivered more than 12,000 babies during more than 40 years of pratice  in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
