Updated 2005: I married soon after graduation to dairy farmer.  (Can you imagine me milking a cow?!!)  We also raised quarter horses, which I still love.  We had 4 children:  Charlann in 1955, Marty in 1957, Bobby in 1958 and Cheryl in 1961.  I have eight grandchildren.
We moved cows, horses, and all the children to Oklahoma in 1964, stayed there for 2 years, and then moved the horses and the kids to Florida.  After 2 years, we moved back to the big city of Navasota, TX.
Since my last child had started to school I went to work for the town’s Pediatrician.  After 3 years I got a better offer from the Richards School System.  and I got a divorce.
In 1971 the kids and I moved to Houston where I went to work as a dispatcher for JHRose Truckline.  In 1979 I left the Trucks for the Trains.  Southern Pacific Railroad couldn’t do without me.  Then in 1986 the oil boom was over and the railroad offered me a buyout!!  Too much to turn down.  I was back in Baytown by that time.
Marty is a hairdresser, and he moved to Baytown and we opened a Beauty Salon.  In 1987 I went to work for Econo-Rail Corp. with Lenora Canfield Eberly.  Back to the railroad.
I stayed there for about 18 months and then I finally
Baytown for about 3 months. He went to work for the Federal Aviation Agency as an Air Traffic Controller.  After training in Oklahoma City, we moved to Ft. Worth, Waco, and then to Humble.  When my youngest child was in the 6th grade, I went to work in the Elementary School, first as a health aide and then as an attendance clerk.  After 5 years I worked in our Church Mother’s Day Out for about 3 years and then I kept children in our home for another 3 years.  Dan retired and we moved to San Antonio where 3 of our 4 children live.  Jerry, 41, Dee Ann, 37, and Alice Ann, 25.  Our youngest, Jo Ann, 33, lives in Missouri.  We have 6 grandchildren, ages 14,12,11,9,8, & 4.  I worked at ClothWorld 2 ½ years, and the retired to be a stay at home wife, when I’m not out running around with my friends.  Don and I will be celebrating out 43rd anniversary this summer.

found out what I should be doing.  Asa Ray and I married in July of 1988, and I “retired”.  I am loving every minute of it.  I have time to do all the things that I want to do like enjoying our grandchildren.  I have already said that I have 8 grandchildren, but what I haven’t said is that Asa Ray also has 8 grandchildren also.  So that’s 16 in all.  Christmas is a real challenge.
Since 1994, we have moved to Richards in Grimes County.  It is a tiny little town near the county seat of Anderson.  Asa Ray’s Dad moved with us and lived next door until he passed away in 2003.  I went back to work, part time only for and antique and gift store in Navasota.  The store is a family affair.  The owner is my sister in law.  Another sister in law work there too.  It is a challenge, but the best part is how much fun we have.  Asa Ray retired in 2001. I'm trying to get use to having him around all the time.  I’m not sure if I will ever completely retire.  I have 4 kids,8 grandkids and 2 Great grandkids.  Most of them live near and we get to enjoy them, in person or by phone almost everyday.
2008: Georgann passed away in December following a long illness.

After graduation I married Warren and we moved to Southern California, where he worked as an electrician on construction of Disney Land.  We started raising a family of 4 children, Nicki (1956), Pam (1959) and Darryl & David (1960).  We moved back to Baytown in 1967 where I

Finally retired and went to work for in-laws and children.  Try to play golf
attended Lee College and then went to work for Armco Steel and remained there until April 1985, at which time they closed their doors.  After almost a year off I went to work as Office Coordinator for Econo-Rail Corp.  I took early retirement in Sept. 1997 due to Warren’s health.  He died in April 1998 from cancer.  I have been doing some traveling and I have worked on the last three reunions.  It has really been great working with you high school classmates.  All four of my children graduated from Robert E Lee.  I also have 3
when I can sneak off before daylight while they are still asleep. Still have an occasional dream about Geraldine.
Would really like to see you guys everyday, not just at reunions.
2004: Well Guy's and Gal's, where in the "he__" has all that time gone?  Looking through some of the old pictures of my " grand-chullins", and I
grandchildren, one girl and two boys.  All but one has graduated from Lee.  The last grandson graduated May 27, 1999.  This makes four generations so far to graduate from Lee.  I am now having fun playing with 3 great granddaughters.  Hopefully one of them may graduate from Robert E. Lee.
2004 Update:  In 2003 things made a big change.  A very special person came into my life after 5 years of being alone.  In May, 2003 1 married R W (Dub) Dilmore.  He is from Jacksonville, Florida.  He also has two great children a daughter Jeri, and family here in Baytown and a son Rodney and family, who live in Atlanta, Georgia.  I am still the activities director at Shady Creek Senior Apartments here in Baytown. We plan on doing more traveling and sharing a good life together.  Between us we now have 7 grandchildren and one on the way, and 3 great grandchildren.
see a picture of oldest when he was two (2), which seems like a-couple of years ago, and now he is in his second year of college.  The next six (6) are just a blur.  R.K. is 19,Cody is 14, Colby is 12, Ryan is 13, Tori is 12,Candace is 10,and Jesse is 9.  Been spending most of my life going to baseball, basketball, softball, and football of course.  Also included in all that was some cheerleading too.  Most of all that was done in between Moss Bluff LA. and Wimberly, Tx.  It really can’t have been fifty (50) years since we all left the big "pink" building on the hill overlooking Goose-Creek stream. (even though Asa Ray keeps reminding me that it was)  Well this is to every-body.  I'm not really sure that I can make another "50", so I sure hope all of you can make the blow-out at South Shore so I can see all of you one more time. (and you can see me too).  Oh, and by the way, I'm still have that wonderful dream about "GERALDINE"
See ya'll there, and I'm still having to pay for Betty Jane's food, clothing, and shelter.
