After high school I attended Lee College, University of Texas in Austin, and graduated with a Business Administration Degree from the University of Houston.  For approximately the next 40 years I worked in Houston for Texas Commerce Bank, T.J. Bettes, a mortgage company, Ranger Insurance Group, Mundy Companies, Austin Industrial Co., out of Dallas; with a brief time spent with a small construction company in Baton Rouge, LA.  Now I am the Business Manager, for Bechtel Companies, San Francisco, CA, at Morgantown, WV Co.-generation Power Plant.

In 1958 I married Jean Burleson, had Lisa Kay (‘61) and Michael Doyle (‘65) and was divorced in 1987.  In 1990 I met and married Asa Ray’s cousin, Antoinette Proctor Railsback.  She lived in Houston, drove a little red sports car, and promised to love me until I was 105!  She has two girls, Valerie Annette (‘64) and Stephanie Christine (‘67);  we now have 2 grandchildren, Elizabeth (3) and Christopher (1).  We have lived in Houston, Russelville, ARK. and presently reside in Morgantown, WV - which is almost the end of the world, since all of our children live in the Harris County area.

Pauline Dickerson Brumfield (Tom) 9988 Valley View Dr.,  College Station, TX 77845 (979) 846-4975 tombrumfield@aol.com 2004:  After H.S. I attended Lillie Jolly School of Nursing in Houston, TX.  While I was a student nurse, I met my husband, Tom, who graduated from Texas A&M College in May 1957.  We married in June and I graduated from Nursing School in July.
Nine months later we began an exciting military career with assignments at San Antonio, Big Spring, Sherman, Burkburnett and College Station, TX.  We also lived at Bainbridge, GA; Stead AB, NV; Williams AFB, AZ; McGuire AFB, NJ; and Torrejon AB, Spain.
Our less wonderful assignments included two unaccompanied tours to Korea and one to Viet Nam.
Our daughters, Kathy, Mary and Susan all graduated from Burkburnett H.S., TX and attended college at West Florida State University, Texas Tech University and Texas A&M University.  We are pleased to say that we have three very fine sons-in-law, seven grand children and a brand new great-grandson who just arrived April 18, 2004.
I retired from the American Red Cross Blood Services in 1997, and Tom began his retirement in 1996.  We love living in College Station, TX, where we enjoy country living, activities at the university (TAMU) and most of all getting to be with our children and their families.
Guess that about wraps it up for me.  I look forward to seeing everyone at the 50th.
